Healthcare’s dizzying rise as a proportion of national expenditure has run out of oxygen among developing nations and may be poised for major transformations.

This transformation is occurring in Europe, the United States, as well as other locations around the world. This “new normal” looks at not only meeting the needs of the population and / or making a profit, but rather applying the principles of value engineering to healthcare.

These changes will transform the sector by economic necessity, and I believe the result will be improved outcomes (how about measured outcomes – period) and importantly, improved quality of life.
