Jean Patel Bushnell is a seasoned service sector leader with significant marketing and organizational development experience in the health, human services and senior living sectors.
As Executive Director for ITNGreaterBoston, she led a startup mobility service for seniors that provided 15,000 rides, supporting over 500 members. She established key relationships with leading organizations such as Ethos, DriveWise Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center, Jewish Family Services, FriendshipWorks, AARP MA, Carroll Center for the Blind, Sophia Snow, Whitney Place Assisted Living, The Gerontology Institute at the University of Massachusetts, MetroWest Nonprofit Network, SOAR55 and more.
Prior to ITNGreaterBoston, Jean was Executive Director of Standish Village Assisted Living of Lower Mills where she led operations, resident services, sales & marketing, financial performance and staff supervision, fueled by trust and responsiveness to the often competing dynamics of overwhelmed families, elders wanting to stay in their own homes and referral sources.
Other positions held by Ms. Bushnell include Vice President, Business Development, The Visiting Nurse Association of Boston, and Director of Channel Marketing and Communications at Phillips Lifeline.
Jean was the Vice President, Marketing for the United Way of Mass Bay overseeing the functions of Creative Services, Training and Community Education, Market Research & Business Analysis, Impact Communications and Key Customer Relations.
Jean also founded Marketing Mastery, a consulting practice which helped organizations like Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Warm Health and Senticare launch products and services into the seniors’ support domain.
She was twice Board Chair of Ethos, one of 22 Aging Services Access Points (ASAPs) in Massachusetts. Other community contributions include The Boston Club for Women Leaders, Board Member, 2011 –present, Discovering What’s Next and Board Member 2012-present, MetroWest Nonprofit Network.
She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
